“A visit to IIT Kgp’s Tech-Fest Kshitij really highlighted this issue for us,” shared Vikas, co-founder of EnglishYaari. “We met so many inspiring people, but communication barriers limited our interactions.”

It was this encounter that gave rise to the idea of EnglishYaari. They realised this wasn’t just their problem; many people felt held back by a need for more confidence in spoken English. Excellent skills in their respective fields were overshadowed by the fear of being judged. Traditional classroom settings, often crowded and impersonal, didn’t address this need.

“We grew up in an environment where the focus was on secure government jobs,” explained Piyush, another co-founder. “EnglishYaari was born out of our goal to create something special and our desire to break through this communication barrier.”
